Miyajima Ropeway
Miyajima Ropeway is an amazing way to ascend Mount Misen from Momijidani Park. The views at the top overlooking the Seto Inland Sea and back to the mainland are simply beautiful. That provides an excellent observation point on a clear day, plus access to the Wild Monkey Park, temples, and shrines of Mount Misen. The ropeway runs at approximately 20-minute intervals, and the trip is definitely worth it.

The dome is part of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and has been recognized as the most famous World Heritage site in Japan. The symbol represents a memorial to the people who were killed by the atomic bomb on August 6, 1945. The bomb killed over 70,000 people instantly, and caused another 70,000 to suffer fatal injuries from the radiation.
